Would you like to be part of our team of After School Supervisors at our popular and busy After School Club?
Term Time only – 3 days (2.45 pm – 6.15 pm)
(Temporary Position - Maternity cover: April 2017 – July 2017)

We are looking for a friendly, hardworking, flexible and reliable After School Club Supervisor (support maternity leave) to assist with our busy and popular on site After School Club with a start date as soon as possible.

After School Supervisor Duties:

  • To safeguard children at all times
  • To create a fun, stimulating and safe environment for the children after school until collected by parents/carers and to prepare and supervise activities
  • To establish and maintain a calm, happy, purposeful and safe atmosphere in the After School Club, developing positive relationships with all children
  • To prepare food and supervise snack time
  • To ensure Health and Safety procedures are effective, up to date and followed at all times
  • To liaise with School staff, parents and carers to ensure the safety of all pupils using the After School Club while on site
  • To keep accurate records eg. registers, times of departure, concerns, observations as required
  • To administer First Aid as required

Experience and proven competence in supervising children is essential. Food Hygiene qualification and First Aid qualifications are also desirable but training can be provided if necessary.

Salary: dependent on experience and qualifications (from £8 to £10 per hour)
