£8.94/hour. We are recruiting for 20 to 35 hours a week contracts and for ‘bank’ staff (all of which will include weekends and school holidays).

The Honeypot Children’s Charity needs Residential Play Workers to support disadvantaged children between the ages of 5 and 12 on overnight respite holiday breaks and outreach Play bus sessions in the New Forest, Hampshire.

Are you a positive person, passionate about supporting young carers and vulnerable children? Do you work well as part of a friendly team and readily embrace new challenges? Are you creative and enthusiastic?  If so, this could be for you.

The role is based primarily at our respite home, situated in seven acres of beautiful countryside, at Honeypot House in the New Forest, Hampshire. You’ll provide a variety of fun individual and group activities for children in a safe, nurturing environment, engaging with them to boost their self-confidence.  The children have full access to the site facilities which include trampolines, a swimming pool, an arts and crafts shed and a lake.

Applicants must have experience of working or volunteering with children in a group environment and knowledge of Child Protection and Safeguarding is essential. This role requires a DBS check. Further training can be provided.
