Due to organic growth and new enterprises Harlequin is looking for enthusiastic pre-school and playwork team members at all levels.

Harlequin presently provide pre-school, forest pre-school, breakfast, after school, forest school and holiday clubs for children aged 2-11 at five locations in Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells.

Through our fantasic staff we are able to offer outstanding childcare.  Opportunies exist for playworkers and pre-school staff to join each of our settings.

All successful candidates must be committed to providing high quality childcare. Relevant training and initial DBS is paid for by employer. CPD is encouraged and paid for.

Setting Manager

This is an opportunity to join the leadership team of one of Kent's leading and best respected out of school club providers.  We are looking for a manager for the Maidstone area to lead at a new setting due to open in September 2018.  

You will be a setting manager already with a minimum of Level 3 Playwork, or a qualified playworker with at least 2 years experience at that level in a setting.  Ideally, you will also have all the necessary associated qualifications; paediatric first aid and a food hygiene certificate.

The post requires a creative, reliable, enthusiastic, and above all assertive individual who has good organisational skills and the ability to develop exciting and varied activity programmes for our children.  You will have overall responsibility for the day to day running of the setting. The role includes close supervision and interaction with children, staff and parents. 

You will have strong management skills and good knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and preparing for OFSTED. You will be required to train as a DSL.
