After-School Club - Playworker Opportunity

Horns Drove Community Pre-School and RASCALS in Rownhams has the following vacancy for an enthusiastic and experienced play worker for their After-school club:

Play Worker / ad-hoc Supervisor

Hours: From 3.00pm to 6:30pm, 2 days a week (Wednesday and Friday). 

Salary: £7.95 per hour (subject to minimum wage increase in April 2019) for a Playworker and £8.96 per hour for a Supervisor.

Applicants will have a relevant Level 3 NVQ or diploma, preferably in Playwork, with experience of working with 4 – 11 year olds in a play environment. Experience of working in a supervisory capacity is desirable. Applicants will also be required to drive our van to transport children.

Successful applicants will join us in providing high-quality, safe and stimulating after school care for the children attending RASCALS Holiday Club.

All posts are covered by the Childcare Act 2006 and are subject to receipt of a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure for a regulated activity and reference checks.
