Zaks Childcare Services - Breakfast & After School  Club Manager x 2 positons available 

25 hours - term time with the option to work additional hours during school holidays.

In a Club Manager position within Zaks Childcare Services, you will have the overall responsibility for the day to day operation and management of the club.  Your role will include directing a team of playworkers to ensure safe supervision of children in a fun and engaging setting, whilst adhering to Ofsted regulations.

You will be highly motivated and enthusiastic with a good working knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures to ensure that children are supervised and safe at all times.

Duties Will Include

  • The day-to-day running of the setting, including staff management and team building
  • Planning exciting and rewarding after school play-based activities, and developing new resources.
  • Liaising with parents and carers on progress and their child’s engagement in play based activities.
  • Continuous monitoring of quality, risk, safeguarding and the general practice of the club.

Essential Skills

  • You must hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in Playwork, with current experience in a childcare setting.
  • A proven track record as a Supervisor or Team Leader, and a working knowledge of what constitutes quality primary age provision including early years.
  • An understanding of the importance of Health, Safety and Hygiene in an after school club.
