Each member of the Oaklands community is encouraged to learn, including staff, pupils and parents. Not being afraid to make a mistake and knowing that you will be supported to achieve the best you can is vital for our staff as well as our children.

We have highly skilled staff in school and an ethos that ensures all staff have high quality training, share great practice, build their confidence and therefore deliver success for everyone.

  • The Deputy Manager will direct and supervise the Club staff with the support or in the absence of the Setting Manager.
  • A good understanding of the relevant national standards and guidance for Out of School Care and an awareness of child protection issues and procedures are essential.
  • You will have effective communication skills to be able to inform, persuade, inspire and motivate children and staff and provide feedback for professionals and parents.
  • Effective organisational skills and the ability to perform administrative tasks are essential to the role.
