Moss Hall Play Centre has been established for more than 30 years and provides after school care to primary school age (aged 4 to 11 years old) children.  Moss Hall Playcentre has an ethos of free play where children are allowed to express themselves freely but within set boundaries and rules, and decide how to spend their time there. 

Due to an increase in capacity and staff changes we are looking to recruit to a number of posts. 

The successful candidates will be passionate about working with children and moulding their development, and be enthusiastic and reliable members of a team. All the posts require the person to complete an enhanced DBS.  Successful candidates will be expected to keep up with the necessary training required for their role.

The playcentre is operated out of Moss Hall Infants & Junior School, Moss Hall Grove: N12 8PE.

We are looking for a senior play worker who is experienced in managing a team of staff within a play scheme. The role involves supervising and supporting children and the right person should be able to understand individual children and their issues and have the ability to plan and organise a safe and high quality play environment. The successful candidate would be qualified to level 3 playwork and should be able to demonstrate leadership and the ability to undertake management tasks in relation to the play scheme and be able to deputise for the Play Manager.

Hours: 14.45 – 18.00, 5 days per week, term time only
Salary: competitive, based on experience.
