Moss Hall Play Centre has been established for more than 30 years and provides after school care to primary school age (aged 4 to 11 years old) children.  Moss Hall Playcentre has an ethos of free play where children are allowed to express themselves freely but within set boundaries and rules, and decide how to spend their time there. 

Due to an increase in capacity and staff changes we are looking to recruit to a number of posts. 

The successful candidates will be passionate about working with children and moulding their development, and be enthusiastic and reliable members of a team. All the posts require the person to complete an enhanced DBS.  Successful candidates will be expected to keep up with the necessary training required for their role.

The playcentre is operated out of Moss Hall Infants & Junior School, Moss Hall Grove: N12 8PE.

We are looking for up to two new Playworkers to work as part of a larger team supporting the children in the play centre with all activities and encouraging children’s development and self reliance through appropriate activities.  The successful candidate(s) may be qualified, but unqualified experienced playworker are also invited to apply for this post.

Hours: 15.00 – 18.00, 5 days per week, term time only

Salary: competitive, based on experience

This person needs to have play knowledge, be reliable, punctual and responsible. All the posts require the person to complete an enhanced DBS.
