We are a large, well-established After School Club for children aged 4-11 years, known for its caring and happy atmosphere. We are a not-for-profit organisation, run by a voluntary parent management committee with a dedicated and highly professional team of staff who are committed to providing a safe and stimulating environment for children. We are seeking playworkers to join the team.

Responsibilities of the role include: providing high quality, creative play and care for the children in the club, preparing and serving snacks, communicating with parents and carers, setting up and storage of the play setting as well as cleaning of the rooms.

The Play Worker role does not require any formal qualifications but a commitment to working with children and a willingness to learn is key. Level 2/3 Play Workers will also support the planning and running of the club.

Candidates must also be able to work as part of a team and be utterly reliable.

Visits are warmly encouraged. To visit or find out more about the role, please contact the club Manager Sue Lockey windmillasc@hotmail.com

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. Our preferred candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
