Incident notification form
Providers have reported that schools have served them notice because they believe that the National Wraparound Childcare Programme requires schools to deliver wraparound not private providers, or that they believe they will receive to operate their own provision. We want to correct these misunderstandings as they crop up and ask DfE to issue clarification notices, but we can’t do it on hearsay.
We have created a form for you to notify us where school take overs are happening, where schools are taking over because they have an incorrect understanding of the programme or where something else ‘wonky’ is happening. To make it easy for you and for us to collate this information and share with DfE we’ve created a form for you to send your notification in.
Please remember that we can’t do anything if you don’t tell us what’s happening and we appreciate you helping us to help you! You can also notify us of incidents that have happened in the recent past that we can share but please remember to tell us when it happened. Thank you for your support on this.
